Our Roots
“The knowledge of how to give birth without outside interventions lies deep within each woman. Successful childbirth depends on the acceptance of the process.”
Our Mission
At Sacred House of Eden, our mission is to provide evidence-based information to women, empowering them to make informed health decisions about their birth experience and overall well-being.
We believe in educating women on both traditional and modern methods, with a special focus on holistic pregnancy and holistic healing.
Our greatest commitment is to help reduce maternal and infant mortality by improving birth outcomes—especially among African-American and other women of color.
Our Philosophy
We believe that birth is a natural event and should never be treated as an illness. The human body is designed to give birth, and with the right support and preparation, it can navigate the process of labor and delivery with confidence and ease.
At Sacred House of Eden, it is our duty to ensure that every woman is fully informed of her options and empowered to make choices she feels confident in.
We also recognize that each woman's views on birth are often deeply rooted in her culture. We are committed to remaining respectful and inclusive of all cultural beliefs, and we will honor any cultural practices or requests when asked.
Our Vision
At Sacred House of Eden, our vision is to create a space where women of color (WOC) can come together and feel fully supported, without judgment. We aim to ensure that WOC have the opportunity to live long, well-balanced lives, with access to the care and guidance they need.
Most importantly, we strive to foster a safe, welcoming environment where all women can share their stories, express their emotions, and be honest about their unique journeys—knowing they will always be met with compassion and understanding.
