Certified Lactation Counselor: Breastfeeding Support
“What is a Lactation Counselor?” A Lactation Counselor certification identifies a professional in lactation counseling who has demonstrated the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitudes to provide clinical breastfeeding counseling and management support to families who are thinking about breastfeeding or who have questions or problems during the course of breastfeeding/lactation.
Lactation Support:
While breastfeeding is a biological feeding method, it doesn’t always come easily at first. Both you and your baby need time to learn and practice this new skill. Ideally, bottle feeding should mimic breastfeeding to allow your baby to pace their feeds and bond with you during meals.
Despite the abundance of opinions on how, when, and where to feed your baby, even well-meaning supporters may lack the skills to assist you when challenges arise.
That’s where we come in. We are dedicated to helping you establish a successful breastfeeding relationship, as support during those first few weeks is crucial.
Tatiana, our Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), specializes in “Natural Breastfeeding” techniques, addressing the most common breastfeeding issues new mothers face. At Sacred House of Eden, we provide lactation support in the comfort and privacy of your own home.

Peer Counseling:
We offer peer counseling in lactation management, providing support and guidance as well as referrals to resources for interventions beyond our scope of practice.
In addition, we will soon offer peer counseling group sessions for both new and seasoned breastfeeding moms. The early journey of breastfeeding can be challenging, and these sessions will create a supportive environment for shared learning and encouragement.
Through these weekly sessions, mothers will receive encouragement and empowerment, especially during moments when they feel like giving up on their breastfeeding journey.
