At Sacred House of Eden, we offer Full Labor Support to ensure that you feel confident, cared for, and empowered throughout your birthing experience. Once you begin labor, your Birth-worker will be available to you within 2 hours of being contacted. She will meet you at your chosen place to labor, whether it’s at home, a birth center, or a hospital.
What Full Labor Support Includes:
Comfort Measures: Your Birth-worker will use physical, emotional, and mental techniques to provide relief during labor. From massage and optimal birthing positions to breathing techniques, she’ll help keep you comfortable and focused.
Confidence Boosting: Having a Birth-worker by your side can significantly reduce stress and anxiety, allowing you to labor with confidence and peace of mind.
Comprehensive Support: Your Birth-worker will be an integral part of your birth team, ensuring that your preferences are respected. She’ll support you from the onset of labor until your baby arrives and will stay 2 hours postpartum to assist with the baby’s first latch for breastfeeding success.

Want to Labor Alone First?
If you and your partner prefer to labor privately, simply notify your Birth-worker that labor has begun. Once active labor starts, contact her again, and she’ll head promptly to your chosen birthing location to support you through the remainder of the process.
We understand that support is essential beyond birth—many women struggle with balancing it all, and families can benefit from extra help while adjusting to their new lives. In January 2022, all of our birth packages changed to include postpartum support providing continued care after birth. All packages include postpartum visits, and if you would like to add additional hours, please mention this during your consultation so we can provide you with further details.
Additionally, you can visit our postpartum packages page to explore adding extra hours and to review hourly rates. Please note that postpartum visits included in our birth packages are scheduled during normal business hours. For overnight support, you will be responsible for the cost difference.

**Postpartum visits are flexible and can be customized to suit your needs. While the days listed provide a guideline for the visits included in your package, we are committed to scheduling your first postpartum visit within the first 72 hours after the birth of your beautiful baby.
Gentle Hands (C-Section Moms)-$777
For mothers planning a cesarean birth, whether scheduled or unplanned, additional support is often essential. Your Birth-worker will meet with you prenatally to help develop a personalized birth plan aimed at ensuring a more satisfying and positive birth experience. On the day of the birth, she will be present at the hospital to answer questions, ease any tensions, assist with breastfeeding initiation, and provide any additional support to facilitate a smoother recovery. Once you return home, your Birth-worker will visit for 4 hours to help you settle in and will assist in creating a Care Plan for the weeks ahead.
