At Sacred House of Eden, our full labor support is designed to ensure you feel informed, supported, and confidently guided throughout your birth experience. Once labor begins, your maternal care provider will remain on call and available within two hours of being contacted, joining you at your chosen birth setting — whether home, birth center, or hospital.
What Full Labor Support Includes:
Comfort Measures: Your maternal care provider will use physical, emotional, and mental techniques to provide relief during labor. From massage and optimal birthing positions to breathing techniques, your provider will help keep you comfortable and focused.
Confidence Boosting: Continuous professional support during labor has been shown to reduce stress, improve confidence, and help families feel more prepared for the birth experience.
Comprehensive Support: Your maternal care provider will be an integral part of your birth team, ensuring that your preferences are respected. She’ll support you from the onset of labor until your baby arrives and will stay 2 hours postpartum to assist with the baby’s first latch for breastfeeding success.

Want to Labor Alone First?
If you and your partner prefer to labor privately, simply notify your provider that labor has begun. Once active labor starts, contact her again, and she’ll head promptly to your chosen birthing location to support you through the remainder of the process.
We understand that support is essential beyond birth—many families benefit from additional support as they adjust to life with a newborn. All of our birth plans include postpartum support, allowing care to continue beyond birth as your family transitions into this new chapter. This continuity of care is a core part of our philosophy at Sacred House of Eden. All plans include postpartum visits, and if you would like to add additional hours, please mention this during your consultation so we can provide you with further details.
Additionally, you can visit our postpartum packages page to explore adding extra hours and to review hourly rates. Please note that postpartum visits included in our birth plans are scheduled during normal business hours. For overnight support, you will be responsible for the cost difference.

Your maternal care provider will meet with you prenatally to develop a personalized birth plan that centers your preferences while preparing you for the surgical birth experience. On the day of your birth, she will be present to offer reassurance, answer questions, support early breastfeeding, and help create an atmosphere of confidence and emotional ease.
Once you return home, postpartum support begins with dedicated in-home visits to help you settle in comfortably while establishing a practical Care Plan for the weeks ahead. Two additional visits during your first week of postpartum ensures continued guidance as your recovery unfolds.
